Found This...
Found this in a book today at work (yes I did do some work as well!) it's by John Henry Jowett
They tell me I must bruise
The rose's leaf,
Ere I can keep and use
Its fragrance brief.
They tell me I must break
The skylark's heart,
Ere her cage song will make
The silence start.
They tell me love must bleed,
And friendship weep,
Ere in my deepest need
I touch that deep.
Must it be always so
With precious things?
Must they be bruised and go
with beaten wings?
Ah, yes! by crushing days,
By caging nights, by scar
Of thorn and stony ways,
These blessings are!

Casting Crowns
I love music and I love song words, both song words that mean something, or stir something or just the plain silly and I know a lot of them - but that is another post, the ones I want to quote from are ones that I was listening to at work the other day. The song is "Your Love is extravagent" and it is by Casting Crowns...
Your love is extravagant
Your friendship is intimate
I feel like moving to the rhythm of your Grace
Your fragrance is intoxicating in our secret place
Your love is extravagant
Spread wide in the arms of Christ
is the love that cover sin
No greater love have I ever Known
You consider me a friend
Capture my heart again
Your love is extravagant
Your friendship is intimate.
Hope you are as moved as I was when I first hear this song...

God's Love letter to you
God's Love Letter to you...
You are lovely in My eyes,
and I created you to be just as you are.
Do not criticise yourself or get down
for not being perfect in you own eyes.
Love God

Amazing Grace
The film "Amazing Grace" is due in cinema's in February - seeing the trailers for it i think it will be worth seeing... And best of all Chris Tomlin's song is on the "music inspired by album"..
..."William Wilberforce (1759-1833) led the twenty-year fight to end the British slave trade, a victory now regarded as He finally succeeded in March 1807 and continued to fight for abolition until, days before his death in 1833, he saw the institution of slavery abolished throughout the British colonies. Not limiting himself to just abolitionist work, he dedicated his life to what he called his "two great objects:" abolishing slavery in the British Empire and what he called "the reformation of manners [society]." To this end, he advocated for child labor laws, campaigned for education of the blind and deaf, and founded organizations as diverse as the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) and the National Gallery (of Art). "Good causes," it has been said, "stuck to him like pins to a magnet."
- Wilberforce biographer and Amazing Grace lead historical consultant, Kevin Belmonte"...
